Experience and Leveling
In the world of TONkemon, progression is key. The journey of your MON from a novice creature to a formidable fighter hinges on their experience and level progression. Here’s a comprehensive guide to understanding how experience and leveling work in TONkemon:
Gaining Experience Points (EXP)
- Battle Participation: The primary way for your MONs to gain experience points (EXP) is through participating in battles. Whether you’re engaging in daily monster battles, or PvP duels, every battle contributes to your MON's growth.
- Winning Battles: Victorious battles yield the highest amount of EXP. The tougher the opponent, the more EXP your MON will earn, accelerating their leveling process.
- Losing Battles: Even in defeat, your MON will gain some EXP. While the amount is significantly less compared to winning, it ensures that every battle contributes to your MON's progression.
- Training Items: Purchase and use training items from the Store to boost specific stats and gain additional EXP.
Leveling Up
As your MONs accumulate EXP, they will level up, improving their stats and abilities.
- EXP Thresholds: Each level requires a specific amount of EXP to progress. The required EXP increases with each subsequent level, reflecting the MON’s growth and increasing strength. Higher rarity MON have greater potential but also require more EXP to level up.
- Stat Improvements: With each level up, your MON’s core stats—Health, Attack, Defense, Speed, and Special Abilities—will improve. These enhancements make your Mons more formidable in battles and other activities.
- Maximum Levels: All MONs start at level 1 and can reach a maximum level of 6. As they level up, they become significantly more powerful, but the higher the level, the more EXP required to progress.
